This is the old XigmaNAS forum in read only mode,
it will taken offline by the end of march 2021!



I like to aks Users and Admins to rewrite/take over important post from here into the new fresh main forum!
Its not possible for us to export from here and import it to the main forum!

For "upgrading" from FreeNAS/NAS4Free Legacy to XigmaNAS and upgrading XigmaNAS to newer builds.

on the login page there is a message ---- No DNS setting found
i made a new flash drive with latest firmware and restore configuration from previously saved file.

If you don't want or need DNS ignore the error and don't use any services that require it. If you do want or need a service that requires DNS then please configure it and the error will go away.
