Unable to rsync /: write failed, filesystem is full

I'm trying to run rsyncs from a ZFS POOL to a mounted samba share but getting this filesystem of full error. This is my df output

The root (/) is it max capacity, but nothing else is. Where does the problem lie? The rsync source and destination are not part of /.
