I apologize for my bad English but I write through a translator, I have a major problem with access to my NAS, but certainly I must have screwed up something because I do not think it can be a system problem which I think is great.
Practically I have activated 2 protocols, Samba and FTP, and then I created my user assigning me as the primary group as a secondary group Admin and FTP, so I access disks with both protocols depending on the occurrence.
Then I created some users with only ftp access, so I gave it precisely as the primary group ftp and nothing like the secondary, and as I have pointed to the mount point folder for this service, everything works perfectly ... at least I thought so far .
The problem is that when I access the combined network and I am rightly required username and password, I enter my data and I access to the records, but today I tried to put username and password to any account that I set as ftp and access the same no problems, now I wonder how they can access these accounts if they as a group only ftp? I certainly have done something wrong, I did a lot of testing but I can not manage to get out, can you help me?
