Hi all
I've currently got 4 x WD20EARX's running under ZFS as a large stripe, single pool. I've got a 5th drive which I want to add to the pool and migrate to raidz1 to give me single disk failure protection, whilst adding no additional space.
I've read that this is possile without recreating the whole pool, but am unable to find the commands/process for doing this. I'm happy doing this on the shell rather than gui if required.
I'm guessing the process will involve a scrub, adding the new drive to the pool, changing some setting, and running a resilver and I guess a scrub after just for good measure.
Thanks
Chris
