Hi all,
when configuring nas4free to act as an iscsi Initiator I can't find a place to configure chap authentication ... looks like nas4free v. 9.1.0.1 doesn't support it, which is quite surprising.
Do I have a chance to configure it in some way via command line ?
Otherwise I do suggest to include this essential feature in a future release.

Re: iscsi initiator chap feature
Agree with this post. Running 9.2.0.1 and can't figure out what CHAP username and password is being used when system is used as a iSCSI initiator. Looked at the config.xml file but no place to specify this.
The referenced post is over a year old and no replies. Can someone explain what the default CHAP username and password is? Is there a way to changed it? Can NAS4Free be used as an initiator without CHAP?
Target device is a HP P4000 system, which has no access to the shell (can't look at log files to see what CHAP user is being used). Can CHAP configuration be added to the initiator GUI?
Thanks
