Re: Intel Quad Nic?
You are going to have to see why... In doing so, this page may help. http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en/articles/ ... ticle.html
Start with "pciconf -lv" to see if all of the cards are seen. You may have a conflict preventing you from seeing the back half of the card. You can try turning off the boradcom and management nic in the BIOS and see if more comes up...
What nic are you using? What motherboard?

Re: Intel Quad Nic?
I have a TYAN Server Dual Opteron Board..
This has 4 PCI-x slots which are all used.. 3 for controlers and 1 for intel Quad nic.
It have a 10/100 management nic fx0
then 2 Broadcom nics b0 and b1
then I added and intel server nic PCI-x Quad em0 and em1 (but not seeing the other 2 intel nics on same card )
I was wondering if it was possible to see more than 6-7 nics...
I hope that explains it..

Re: Intel Quad Nic?
It is in m0n0wall, which this is based on, so I can not see why not. But that said, I have not had more than 4 in any systems I have built. What did pciconf show?

Re: Intel Quad Nic?
ok, when I get a chance I will put quad nic back in and check with this command, I put a dual nic in for now until I get iscsi and mpio working.
