NFS & NAS4Free-x86-embedded-9.0.0.1.141.img

Post by ldkraemer »

I've created a CF of NAS4Free-x86-embedded-9.0.0.1.141.img and set up my NFS Shares exactly like I did on FreeNAS 7.xxx

I can't get Debian 6 "Squeeze" to access the NFS shares like I did on FreeNAS 7.xxx. Is the NFS feature functional on this version?
I just mounted my NFS Shares with:

Code: Select all

sudo mount 192.168.1.250:/mnt/store /mnt/nas4free
and then copied files to /mnt/nas4free (for FreeNAS it was /mnt/freenas). Has anyone else had problems?
It can't be that hard, and It works in FreeNAS 7.xxx

Thanks.

Larry

yes, but in the old nas4free Forum that was deleted, I remember that problem was, that NFS has changed some parameters, so you need to read how to mount NFS shares , because perhaps has changed recently.
