upgrd from freenas 0.7.2.8191 mounting problem

Post by flyer »

Hello,
After upgrading from freenas,
I have a problem mounting 2 SATA HDD in nas4free.
They are both on the same SATA (RAID) card, other drives connect without problems.
During boot, the sata card bios requires to press ESC or to mount an array and waits an input....unfortunately.
If I don't mount an array (pressing ESC), then I have no problem in nas4free, my disks are recognized, I can mount my disks !
Although I see they have been renamed to other ada numbers than before.

As it is not practical to input ESC into a server, I used to define 2 arrays on the card, separate, 1 for each disk, striping. Freenas version didn't care much...
That was a way to go around the problem.
I have always used all the disks as JBOD in freenas despite this "pseudo array", with 2 external backup disks.
If I try to define an array as before, nas4free does not recognize the file system of the disks, then I cannot mount them of course.

Any idea to help me ?
Thank you
