Sata Controller

Moin,
welche SATA-Controller mit 4 internen Ports habt ihr so im Einsatz?
Ich suche zusätzliche SATA Plätze für die Erweiterung meines NAS.

Ich wollte 1-2 4-Port Sata Controller verbauen. Sie sollten natürlich nicht zu teuer sein, aber trotzdem guten Speed besitzen (SATA-3?).
Oder wäre es günstiger direkt nen 8er zu verbauen? Wohl eher nicht, oder?

Habt ihr gute Erfahrungen mit irgendwelchen Controllern gemacht?
Ich hab mir mal so ein paar Signaturen hier angeschaut und fand dort öfter den "Dawicontrol DC-610e". Ist allerdings mit 90€ schon Recht teuer, oder?
Auch im Controller-Thread im englischsprachigen Teil fand ich nur angepriesende Controller mit 70€ aufwärts.
Kenne mich mit Hardware-Preisen nicht so aus, daher frag ich hier einfach mal.

It looks very cheap. Does it have the full speed to Access the HDD's?
But thanks for your opinion.
I'll wait, perhaps someone other has something else.
Otherwise I'll test it with this one.

That is 150 Mb/s!
This is how it performs over samba with 4 disks connected in ZFS Mirror RAID.
It is "only" PCIE x1, which gives the maximum of 250 Mb/s up and 250 Mb/s down, which is beyond Gigabit network capabilities anyway!
I was also reluctant to buy it, but at this price I could not say no and I am not dissapointed...
It is OEM controller based on a well supported JMB363 controller made by company probably making controllers for other big players.
The quality of the solder is perfect and a whole controller seems to be nicely build too...

Thank you very much for the Speed test and your help.
I think i would test it, but i got a problem: If i want to buy this Controller in Amazon i get this message:
"We're sorry. This item can't be shipped to your selected destination. You may either change the shipping address or delete the item from your order by changing its quantity to 0 and clicking the update button below"
So i can't buy it.
I hope someone else has another idea of an Controller.

ich habe den da: Dawicontrol DC-624e
ist nicht ganz billig aber er ist sehr schnell und läuft prima.

mein Favorit ist immer noch ein ibm m1015 mit it-firmware.

ist ein 8x controller den du bei ebay um die 80 euro bekommst.

diese controller sind überall unterstützt.

Zum Dawicontrol: Ja den hatte ich ja oben schon geschrieben. Hatte deine Signatur schon vorher betrachtet ;-P

@bossmann: Interessant... Nen 8er für 80€? Kaum zu glauben.
Hast du den gekauft, eingebaut und er funzte? Oder musstest du da erst noch diese "IT-Firmware" draufziehen?

You say it's great, then i trust you but i would prefer a branded article.

Habe kürzlich einen DELL PERC H310 / LSi 9240-8i OEM eingebaut. Funktioniert out of the Box. Gebraucht auf ebay war er allerdings teurer, habe ca. EUR 125 mit Versand bezahlt.

Danke Apollo. Das ist ja nen 8er, dann darf er schon das doppelte von nem Vierer kosten.
Ich mag ebay nicht so gerne (bin eher der Amazon Händler ;-P), werd mir die genannten Controller aber am WE mal genauer anschauen.

ja du musst vorher die it firmware draufziehen.
(das flashen funktioniert nicht auf allen mainboards, bei mir ging es ohne probleme)

ich hab meinen auch nicht bei ebay gekauft sonder bei amazon fuer 81 euro + 6 euro versand.
