I think it would be useful to add a "non standard Raid" solution to NAS4Free.
I think about something like Snapraid / Unraid / Flexraid - I mean parity protection + storage pooling. Maybe it is possible to simply add Snapraid plugin?
U can say: We have ZFS or softride, but: here we dont "touch" data on data disk, can move disk from pool to other machine with no data loss, disks of the array can have different sizes, we can add disks at any time, If more than two disks fail, you lose the data only on the failed disks. All the data in the other disks is safe.

why should one system cover all posibilities?
you will need people maintaining that solution, and most people use nas4free because of zfs and its data security.
and if you for some reason need both on one sytem you could do a esxi nas4free/unraid combo for example.
