Hi guys!
I've installed NAS4Free and tuned it as usual. Performance on SMB is reasonable, 50-70MB/S on a Athlon II x2 240 with 4GB RAM. But what is really annoying is when ask properties of a file or folder, we have to wait 10-20 secs to open the window! Anyone know something about? I can't figure out the cause or if there is any tuning for this.
We have 5 2TB disks, RAIDZ1, compression and logs turned off.
