Nein, unter BSD gibt es nahezu keine Automagie 
Grundprinzip ist dass der Benutzer den Rechner unter Kontrolle hat und bestimmt was passiert.
Noch ein Tip, verwende für die Backupplatte ZFS und mach einen Pool drauf, macht vieles einfacher http://www.kernel-error.de/openindiana/ ... ateisystem
