CHAP Authentication Problem with multible Targets

Post by advantum »

Hi everybody

I have a device with 2 Raid 1. Each Raid is a target and has its own NIC assigned (IP and Port)
Each Target has it's own target number.

I have activated Chap authentication for both Targets.

I can connect target 1 without issues, but target 2, will always give an authentication error, even tough, settings are on both targets the same, except, the target number.

Is there anything I am missing?

Targets
Extent Name Path Size
extent0 /dev/mirror/RAID1 Auto
extent1 /dev/mirror/RAID2 Auto

Extents must be defined before they can be used, and extents cannot be used more than once.
Target Name Flags LUNs PG IG AG
iqn.2007-09.jp.ne.peach.istgt:disk0 rw LUN0=/dev/mirror/RAID1 1,1 1,1 none
iqn.2007-09.jp.ne.peach.istgt:disk1 rw LUN0=/dev/mirror/RAID2 2,2 2,2 none
