just recently i installed deluge as transmission did not support proxy servers, but when installing it it installed older version of libxml and every time i booted the system up it threw a bunch of errors at me as lighttpd was compiled against it...
i tried to update libxml, but i failed, so to avoid that i reinstalled the n4f and installed the brig, unfortunatelly immidiately after that lighttpd crashed completely and i could not ressurect it, so i reinstalled n4f again.
i assume that if deluge will work in the jail will comile against the libxml in the jail and will not touch other libxml files so i can avoid having bunch of errors, but i am a bit worried that if i install the brig again i am going to crash the lighttpd again, or was it just a coincident?

Did you install deluge in a jail? Or on Nas4Free?

Re: the brig crashed the lighttpd
First I installed it on N4F, but it installed libxml 207 for some reason and when I started the system I had at least a dozen of errors, that the lighttpd was compiled against 208 version, but it started and worked fine...fsbruva wrote:Did you install deluge in a jail? Or on Nas4Free?
To avoid that I decided to install Deluge in Jail, so started installing the Brig, went to WebGUI and that was it, the website crashed and I could not resurrect the lighttpd, tried to re-install it, went through config files and it still did not want to run!?
I only hope it was a coincident as raulfg3 said...
