connecting with a Windows 7 Ultimate machine through SMB is way slower than connecting with an imac 10.8
my windows machine gets an upload of 560 Mbit/s and download of about 740 Mbit/s
the mac gets an upload of 800 Mbit/s and a Downlaod of the Full gigabit.
when connecting on the mac via smb the up and download is slower than afp but still faster than with windows.
also we have the following issue:
we are using nas4free as a fileserver in our company (3d animation) and work directly on the server. when we load or save files directly from cinema4d the up and download is significant slower.
i am a total newbie. would love to get some help.
