there are NO support for BSD 9, only 8 so buy a new one for N4F or use Frennas 8.x ( not latest FN based on BSD 9).

http://icesquare.com/wordpress/how-to-i ... eebsd-8-x/

Or wait until someone compile a driver for you.

I create building instruction into russian forum
But may be need repeat it
If user have sources for driver he can compile driver as module under NAS4Free. Just need jail with FreeBSD sources. I use stopped proto for compile driver.
1

Code: Select all

chroot /mnt/disk/app/thebrig/proto
User need choice his path to jail
2.

Code: Select all

cd /usr/src/sys/
3. I find sources for driver http://www.highpoint-tech.com/BIOS_Driv ... 8.1222.tgz

Code: Select all

fetch http://www.highpoint-tech.com/BIOS_Driver/rr26xx/268x/freebsd/rr268x-freebsd-src-v1.0.08.1222.tgz
4.

Code: Select all

tar xvzf rr268x-freebsd-src-v1.0.08.1222.tgz
5.

Code: Select all

cd modules/rr2680
6.

Code: Select all

make
Thats all. We have kernel module into folder /mnt/disk/app/thebrig/proto/usr/src/sys/modules/rr2680

Driver HighPoint Rocket Raid rr2680 x86 here
Driver HighPoint Rocket Raid rr2680 x64 here

:!: Attension This is drivers for 268x devices, not for 264x.
 2640 device not work with it.

For some reasons there is not possible to open downloaded RR26xx_FreeBSD_9.1_v1.4.1_13_09_10.tgz file.
Can you upload it one more?
Thank you very much.
