I have the system booting off of a USB stick, but it does not see the computers internal hard drive; it DOES see the other USB stick I've plugged in for file storage. Why does it not recognize the internal hard drive, and what can I do so it does?
thanks,
jf

Re: Internal Hard Drive Not Seen?
normally one first has to add the storage drive
and for simple UFS storage format the drive UFS
then mount the drive. at which point it should show up on the status page
then set up the service(s) to use the drive
there are lots of old you-tube how to videos for FN-7

Re: Internal Hard Drive Not Seen?
Understood, and that is how I added a USB 64GB flash drive, the problem is, that the internal hard drive is not even showing up when I try to import drives, so I can format it! If I can't add it, can't format it, can't mount it... ?armandh wrote:normally one first has to add the storage drive

Re: Internal Hard Drive Not Seen?
now I am totally confused
please describe the boot and storage drives and their locations and type of connection to the MOBO
un plug all drives intended for storage leaving connected the one intended to be the boot drive
see if it still boots and if not the boot is on the wrong drive
