I can't even change setting after I plug in the UPS because the system becomes inaccessible (GUI just times out) even via SSH. I have to do a hard reset just to restart the server after trying to set up my UPS. At least this UPS can and has saved me from brownouts, but I'd like to use it to it's full potential. Any troubleshooting steps/advice would be appreciated. I tried to set up this UPS back in December 0f 2012 with the same results and I vaguely remember having to reinstall NAS4Free for some reason after plugging in this UPS.
Overall the system runs awesome, great speeds over SAMBA 80MB + read and write, CPU and RAM to spare even while scrubbing and being being hit by multiple users. What's the deal with this dubious UPS?
