It would be really nice if we could do incremental updates in place using a tool like "apt-get update" or "port upgrade outdated" etc.
It would be much easier than having to download most recent image, check sum, burn to CD, reboot with CD, do update, remove CD and reboot again.

Thats one of the reasons we suggest people use embedded installs.. upgrades are nice and easy
