Anyone sucesfully installed MythTV or Tvbackend?
Hello, just wondering if anyone have gotten MythTV or TVbackend working inside a jail?

I was considering installing MythTV Backend in a jail but TV tuner support in FreeBSD is flaky at best. If you're using a separate machine with the tuners, you could setup a master/slave configuration. Running Mythbackend without a tuner is doable but FreeBSD isn't well supported as far as the Myth developers are concerned so I doubt there's a recent port that could be used.

Looks like things have changed since I last looked, the latest port for MythTV is 0.26, not bad considering it's on 0.27 for Linux.Snunn1 wrote:FreeBSD isn't well supported as far as the Myth developers are concerned so I doubt there's a recent port that could be used.
