Hello,
just got the following error on nas4free while I was running a rsync backup from Synology DiskStation. (encrypted folder with long file names)
...
rsyncd[8782]: ERROR: buffer overflow in recv_file_entry
...
Found an entry here: http://forums.freenas.org/threads/rsync ... -255.6147/
Any solution for this so far?
Thanks
joe

Re: ERROR: buffer overflow in recv_file_entry
Problem solved: file names on Synology DiskStation too long.
