Problems with some characters

Post by Sanduleak »

Hi.

I am a happy Nas4Free User since about a year and a half, but yesterday I noticed a problem, nothing big, just something that can become a problem in the future (at least for me).

I am Spanish and my main language is, obviously, spanish, and I have noticed that when Rsync Backups data from my Win7 box to N4F the folders and files names are altered and, for example, a folder named "Geotécnicos" becomes "Geot_cnicos".

As I said is not a big issue, just annoying.

Is there any option I can change to correct this problem?.

Just for info, I am using Deltacopy as my Rsync server (In the Win7 box) and my options in the client side (N4F) are: -p --chmod=ugo=rwX

Don´t ask me what those options do, just copied them from somewhere around the internet and it seemed to work flawlesly until I noticed the accetuation problems.

Thanks a lot in advance.

12.1.0.4 - Ingva (revision 7743) on SUPERMICRO X8SIL-F 8GB of ECC RAM, 11x3TB disk in 1 vdev = Vpool = 32TB Raw size , so 29TB usable size (I Have other NAS as Backup)
