Promise SuperTrak EX4350 RAID Controller

Post by apalgen »

I am trying to get my older Promise SuperTrak EX4350 RAID Controller to work with NAS4Free
Can anyone help? It seems there are no drivers for newer FreeBSD versions than 6, can I use the old ones?

No need to use old ones, Drivers are included on new releases until new driver appear.

It's not clear but if use IPO333 Intel Chipset https://www.suse.com/yes/85972.htm, is the same as ARECA cards use : http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/free ... 27140.html

so the driver for BSD is: http://www.freebsd.org/releases/9.1R/hardware.html
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?quer ... .1-RELEASE

But until you test it, is only a suposition.
12.1.0.4 - Ingva (revision 7743) on SUPERMICRO X8SIL-F 8GB of ECC RAM, 11x3TB disk in 1 vdev = Vpool = 32TB Raw size , so 29TB usable size (I Have other NAS as Backup)
