An interesting read. It seems as though Hitachi is the way to go if money is not an issue and WD Red is the way to go if it is.

Funny I just bought 8 Hitachi 4tb coolspin drives for $149.99 a pop, $50 cheaper than WD Reds.

Its a crazy good deal. I'm in the USA and got them at B&H. Its $151.99 right now :)
