Support for Supertalent CoreStore (Marvell 88NV9143)

Post by wingenieur »

Hi!

I wonder if there is any support for this internal SSD as I got one an it is not recognized by an installed NAS4free 9.1.
I've tried to install a NAS4free 9.2 on it, but it won't show up either.

On my NAS4free ASUS-Board (P7H57D-V EVO) there is another Marvell-Chip that works normally, so I think there should be a Marvell driver package.

Has anybody got information about support for the 88NV9143?

Thanks in advance,
wingenieur

Yeah, did this already.
Marvell is mentioned at the ahci driver package only...
That is why I've been asking for it here.

There is a source code of the Marvell Linux drivers at Supertalents forums:
http://www.supertalent.com/home/forum/v ... 75&t=10888

Perhaps anybody familiar with FreeBSD can use this to get it running on NAS4free?

freebsd != Linux.

You cant just use a linux driver, you would need to develop one specially for freebsd.
Nas4Free 11.1.0.4.4517. Supermicro X10SLL-F, 16gb ECC, i3 4130, IBM M1015 with IT firmware. 4x 3tb WD Red, 4x 2TB Samsung F4, both GEOM AES 256 encrypted.
