Hi,
unfortunately I've been having problems to get WOL working on my motherboard Asus H87i Plus. Under 'Lan-> Managment' there is no option "WOL" (example WOL_Magic set). The option (ie WOL general) is not present.
Also when I run the command 'ifconfig em0-m' there is no WOL Magic shown.
According to the manual for the motherboard I have only activate 'Power on by PCE' in BIOS, what I have done, of course. Unfortunately that does not work as far.
When browsing the net I found more useres with this problems (with the same motherboard). Unfortunately, no one has found a solution so far.
greeting
PS: I use Nas4Free 9.2 p2

Re: WOL Asus H87i-Plus
Thanks for your response.
Just two small question.
Is it relally neccessary to buy a Server Adapter? Is a desktop adapter not sufficient?
And is a support of i217 planned in the near future?

Re: WOL Asus H87i-Plus
Not necessay but recomended, keep in mind that if you are spending money to have a good NIC, this are from server world, of course one realtek NIC can do the job, but not as good as INTEL one.Morrio wrote:Is it relally neccessary to buy a Server Adapter? Is a desktop adapter not sufficient?
