I'm new to the UPS scene in BSD and would like to get this going properly.
I have an inexpensive UPS, it is a no-name "Sahara Electra 600 Plus" and with a serial port. It is connected to a HP Microserver via a Serial-to-USB converter.
When plugging the cable in the Microserver, I get the following being displayed on the screen:
ugen0.3: <FTDI> at usbus0
uftdi0: <USB - Serial Cable> on usbus0
The plan would be to try all the drivers, one by one to attempt to get this working. But to make it feasible, I need the correct port naming.
What do I enter as the port description on the GUI:
usbus0
/dev/usbus0
uftdi0
/dev/uftdi0
or
/dev/ugen0.3
or anything else?

Re: Port Naming Convention for UPS
I'm running my UPS on serial port1, and thats /dev/cuau0 - so I'd try /dev/cuau0 and up.
