Unable to start smartd after upgrade

Post by provels »

Hello. I upgraded from 847 to 943 and found I can no longer enable SMART on my drives. I understand there is a commit for smartd to fix this, but is there any way I can incorporate it into my embedded install short of editing the live fs? Thanks for any assistance.

Hi provels,

You can try the latest beta build : NAS4Free-9.2.0.1 r959 (64 bit only)
https://sourceforge.net/projects/nas4fr ... .1%20r959/

Please make sure you'Clear and Import' on Disk|Managment page after you restore your config file to update configuration.

Hi back,
Sorry I didn't reply sooner, but I just saw the 972 release and upgraded last night. All works perfectly now for me. But you probably know that already... :) Thanks for the reply and a great project!
