Is it possible do add a disk to RAIDZ1 and convert it to RAIDZ2? I searched around and couldn't find a clear answer.
Does it also depend on bprewrite?

Re: RAIDZ1 to RAIDZ2
NO
Once you determine/create a RaidZ1, it's NOT possible to convert to RaidZ2.
