Hi all,
Is it possible to create consistent shortcuts? So If I change a folder name, the shortcut won't break.
Thanks

Re: Consistent CIFS shortcuts
NO in windows, ( shorcuts is only a file with full path to destination)
YES in BSD, shortcut are named symlinks and can be soft and hard, (use google to find more info about soft and hard links, and the command to create it "ln").

Re: Consistent CIFS shortcuts
It appears that Windows also support ln:

I wonder if there is a GUI for this somewhere...
Only supported on NTFS... Not good...
