Hi all,
I'm currently running 9.1.0.1 - Sandstorm (revision 636).
I've got a few issues with this build (from when released) as the web interface doesn't work correctly and i can do live upgrades (via the .img files)
The web interface issues are to do when they upgraded the background code for all the dropdown/hover over menus.
There is an issues as i use the following commands.
mount_unionfs /mnt/tank/opt/usr_local /usr/local
mount_unionfs /mnt/tank/opt/var /var
Anyway, i'd like to upgrade to the latest version 9.2 and know i'll have to redo the opt dir and re-set up things like Sickbeard and SABnzbd.
So i can't exactly import my old config, or could i? And just remove the commands (mount_unionfs) and re-create them?
I'm using ZFS, so i want to be able to import my array into the new config once i update the NAS.
I hope this all makes some sense, just after some guidance as to how to update without losing my data.
Happy to re-build the additional application i have (Sickbeard, ect.) and setting i have. Just dont want to lose and data.
Thanks.

Re: 9.1 to Latest
what i would suggest is save your config
do an embedded install of 9.2
and install sickbeard and sabnybd in a jail.
that way you can do the upgrade in the future without having to worry about the other setup.

+1
use of mount_unionfs /mnt/tank/opt/usr_local /usr/local and mount_unionfs /mnt/tank/opt/var /var only have you problems.
You can install Sickbeard and SABnzbd in a Jail as b0ssman says and never have problems to update / upgrade N4F.

You only need to create a jail and install desired packages inside this jail, use "thebrig" as your jail manager: viewtopic.php?f=79&t=3894
