Recommendation for USB3.0 Addon Card

Post by djiceman »

Hey guys,

I'm running my nas4free 9.0.0.1 on an older system that does not yet have onboard USB3 support. So to be able to attach an external USB3 drive for Backup or data migration I would like to purchase an addon PCI-E USB3.0 Controller.
I know that nas4free/FreeBSD doesn't work just as well with any controller, so I would like to know if somebody here has some experience and can recommend a specific brand and model/chipset.
Thx in advance,

Ice
