Hola otra vez!
Resulta que después de instalar los discos e intentar hacer un raid 1... no estaba seguro de haberlo hecho bien, así que borre los discos con la intención de empezar de nuevo.
Ahora resulta que en la administración de los discos si que los veo pero en menú de formatear los discos no aparece en el desplegable para poder seleccionar el disco y formatearlo en zfs..
que puedo hacer??

tienes que borrar los metadatos del disco, mientras el Sistema Operativo piense que pertenecen a un RAID no te dejara formatearlos por seguridad de los datos.
prueba a formatearlos desde la linea de comandos, o a destruir la información con dd o DBAN http://wiki.nas4free.org/doku.php?id=faq:0129
