Hello all. I recently built a server for SAN purposes and I have two intel x520-da2 cards. I have plugged in twin-ax cables and on my switch side I see 10G, however on my nas4free side, I see "media: Ethernet autoselect (autoselect <full-duplex>). I just want to be sure this is synchronized at 10Gb. there seemingly is no real way to tell. I read an article with one person being able to choose "media: Ethernet autoselect (10Gbase-Twinax <full-duplex>)" with ifconfig -m but I see no such option. Please if anyone can provide any insight, that would be most appreciated.
PS: I also have these interfaces in etherchannel mode and on my switch I see it linked up at 20Gb.

Re: no 10G twinax option for network speed
do an iperf test.
if the speed is about 1000 mbit then its working.
the gui does not have an option for 10g.

Is that about right? I only configured the client with a single 10gb link. I have 20gb ether channel to SAN.

Re: no 10G twinax option for network speed
not many people have 10gbit atm.
try without lagg first. see what the cpu utilization is on both ends.

Re: no 10G twinax option for network speed
Alright, so I ran another iperf with more processes and was able to push 9.89Gbits. So that seems to be ok. Thanks all for your help.
