Can't Install NAS4Free! Need Help Please!
Hi,
I try to install NAS4Free from an embedded .img who I have burned to a CD-ROM, but it not work. If my 4 Gb USB stick is connected the setup saids ''Please remove any media and press any key to reboot'' if I do this, the machine enter the setup.
Need help please!

Sounds like you might have the wrong file for booting from CD. http://www.forums.nas4free.org/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=21
Try downloading .ISO file and burn to CD.

The .iso file is for burning a bootable CD
dragging and dropping files to a CD does not make it bootable
using a burning program to burn an .iso file does
win 7 does this natively, XP needed nero or the like
once the CD is booted to the target computer
option 9 allows for transfer of the OS to writable boot medium
[which is needed for the configuration file]
be sure to select the correct .iso file for the hardware [32 or 64 bit]

Thanks for the replies.
Using the LiveCD I can see the options from 0 to 9 but the keyboard do not respond so I can't press 9. Any ideas why this happen?

not all keyboards play well, some need exotic drivers
try a plain old ps2 [round plug] keyboard or different key board

Can you give us some idea what hardware you are using?
Nas4Free 11.1.0.4.4517. Supermicro X10SLL-F, 16gb ECC, i3 4130, IBM M1015 with IT firmware. 4x 3tb WD Red, 4x 2TB Samsung F4, both GEOM AES 256 encrypted.

I try few differents key board with no extras and I still have issues. I also go in the bios and I make some changes and no change yet.

please turn off usb3 support and make sure that the keyboard is plugged into a usb2 port
