I recently build a new NAS using Nas4Free. I previouwly used Freenas 7.2 where I has an APC UPS configured so it would monitor power and if the A/C was off for more than ~30 minutes, Freenas would shut down the computer.
I was trying to do the same thing with Nas4free, but not completely successful yet. I've posted the details in the UPS services sub forum, but no responses yet. I have to think others with NAS's have UPS to protect their data. If anyone can help me get this working I'd much appreciate it. Something has definitely changed from Freenas 7.2 and Nas4free 9 in this area.

Re: Building a new NAS with APC UPS control
Does this mean that NUT 2.6.4 has not been completely tested on Nas4free? I know if you install the UPS service, it seems to work. But if you pull the A/C power cord and force the UPS onto battery mode, that's when you see the error I reported in the UPS forum.

Nut is not Nas4free if you are sure that problem is NUT post a request on his forum.
PD: You must use comand from nut from shell to test that works/ do not works
