I've been trying to install NAS4Free as embedded USB on an older machine I have at home, but I'm having some problems. I've used search and went through a few topics in this subforum, but with no luck.
It doesn't matter if I run it with LiveCD or with USB with an embedded install, it always hangs on the same spot. It starts normally, then during boot it stops in the same spot (see attachement below - hope one of them works). Then it stays like that for a minute or so, followed by two beeps (different notes, if it makes a difference
At first I thought it could be a hardware problem, especially considering I put the machine together out of spare parts we were throwing out at work (they were too slow for the work we're doing, nothing else was wrong), so for test purposes I installed a trial version of Windows 7 on an internal disc. The machine is running Windows fine, so I guess it's not a hardware problem.

I'll write the configuration of the machine later, don't have it here right now. I think it's an AMD 3600+ with 3GB RAM, but I am not sure.
I'm a total noob to NAS4Free and anything similar to it, so I would really appreciate any tips you can give me.
Thank you.
