Reboot loop

Post by exabiche »

Hello, I've got the same issue as
viewtopic.php?f=68&t=5183&p=43670#p43670
The infinite reboot loop which I can't stop. The last message I see is
bge0 is down
Everything is seems ok, when I reed console messages (there is no errors), but system always reboot.

My hardware is HP microserver.
AMD Turion II Processor Model Neo N40L (x64)
8 GB RAM

I have zfs raidz1 (RAID-5) 10 Tb (not all space is used). Maybe once there are a lot of data, but I had no message about that.

You could unplug the data drives then try to boot to see if the data is causing your issues.

Assuming you have a valid backup of your config file I would reinstall the OS then restore the config. You should be back in business in less than 20 minutes. Far less than you will spend troubleshooting.
11.2-RELEASE-p3 | ZFS Mirror - 2 x 8TB WD Red | 28GB ECC Ram
HP ML10v2 x64-embedded on Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-4150 CPU @ 3.50GHz

Extra memory so I can host a couple VMs
1) Unifi Controller on Ubuntu
2) Librenms on Ubuntu
