Hello,
I've inherited two FreeNAS 0.7RC1 Sardaukar (Rev. 4735) / FreeBSD 7.2 Release-P1 systems.
Each are full installs running as virtual machines on VMWare and have attached SCSI 2 virtual disks.
I would like to upgrade these to the latest NAS4Free release.
From what I've read on the forum, I would just need to:
1) Download ISO image.
2) Burn to CD/DVD.
3) Boot FreeNAS 0.7RC1to CD/DVD.
4) Select option 9 - "Install/Upgrade to hard drive/flash device, etc.
5) Select option 5 - "Upgrade 'full' OS from CDROM.
6) Import Disks
If anyone could offer any tips, advice, etc., on my upgrade plan, I would much appreciate it.
Thanks
Frank
