Upgraded from 9.1 sandstorm to 9.2 Shigawire by creating a brand new usb stick and import settings/configurations.
Everything appears to be working fine except getting this error in "Disks|Management".
Here is the error message: "The device(s) in config are different to actual device(s). Please remove the device(s) and re-add it or use 'Clear config and Import disks'."
Once I click on 'Clear config and Import disks' button, the message goes away,
Is this normal? Since hardware hasn't been changed.

Re: Upgrade Issue
Is this normal if you haven't upgraded the OS? Or maybe I did months ago, and never noticed this error until just now (rebooting a handful of times since then)?
And clarifying, "Clear config and Import disks" doesn't mess anything up or lose data?

Re: Upgrade Issue
Just more info, all 10x disks in my raidz2 are red. If I "Clear config and import disks" I really won't lose any data?
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Re: Upgrade Issue
Clear config is just that, clears the configuration only, data remains. You will need to re do smart & power settings for each drive. But data will not be lost.

Re: Upgrade Issue
Ok, that's good. Can I do it while it's running, and being used by others? Or should I wait til everything's done copying?
It's serving files over multiple protocols. Performance is fine, no errors anywhere (except in the Disks-Management page). I'm not even sure what caused this, or how long it's been saying this.

Re: Upgrade Issue
So, to answer my question. Yes, it worked fine, while using it. I even started a large file copy and clicked the "clear config and import disks", and nothing even blipped.
Thanks guys
