Hi,
I just upgraded from latest 9.2.0... to 9.3.0.2 v1132 (both embedded). I noticed that CPU clock is not going down as I was remembering. When I run top in shell I noticed that 20-30% is steadily taken by interrupt. Which was not the case in past.
Nothing else in HW/SW changed compared to the previous version.
What is the reason? How to make it right? Is there anyone else suffering from that as well?
This is the old XigmaNAS forum in read only mode,

Re: High CPU utilization due to interrupts after upgrade to v1123
Unfortunately no difference. (topic renamed to match that)
I checked if something changes when transmission is shut down and answer is no.
Can you please help solve that? I willing to provide you with any details/exports you may want/need.
One idea from me - I noticed that one change 9.2->9.3 is related to different way of "taking care of" harddrives attached to RAID cards. And in my system I do have 4 HDD in R5 @ Adaptec 5805. Cannot be that related to that?

What do you mean on this in detail ? Some of the reporting in the webgui was improved with regard to (LSI) RaidCards were made, but I am not aware of anything else.noclaf wrote: One idea from me - I noticed that one change 9.2->9.3 is related to different way of "taking care of" harddrives attached to RAID cards.
Did you upgrade an old installation or did you install it from the scratch and restored the config file ?
If you did the first, please try the latter method.

From scratch and imported config. I was not upgrading.
If I remember correctly In past I was not able to see disks attached to my Adaptec card in Disks->Management. Now after upgrade I can see pass0...pass3 disks in there. But maybe my memory is faulty...?

Re: High CPU utilization due to interrupts after upgrade to v1213
Problem solved.
2 days ago I moved the server to new flat and since then the interrupts disappeared...
Strange, but right now I'm happy.
BTW - please make the password policy a bit reasonable. Password strength required is ridiculous, taking into account it's only discussion forum.
