I've been happily using nas4free now for a very long time. I'm moving across the (big)pond to Canada soon.
I'd take the drives with me obviously, but I'm not sure as to what else to take to quickly put the NAS back together, and I don't want to drag the big computer case with me on the plane. It is a dirt cheap case anyway.
My NAS has 8 internal drives. I wonder what my best strategy would be. Also, are there any dirt cheap the cases to be found in Canada? Cheapest I found were 23-24$ ex shipping, my current case cost about half that incl shipping when I bought it new 2 years ago. Any suggestions?
