I added some new torremts to transmission client and eventually free space is run out. But after I deleted some old downloads I cannot continue my torrents. After I restart them something about 100MB downloaded and "No space left on device" error is back. But there are about 300GB free space now. I'm quite sure download and incomplete folders are OK and point to ZFS pool with plenty of free space. I'll appreciate any help

And now also new torrents are failing with the same error. Any idea what can be a reason?

also please do not hijack other peoples post. this can be very confusing for people.
your posts have nothing to do with the initial post in this thread.

Re: Unable to save resume file - No space left on device
Try to define a Configuration directory in /mnt/Pool1/Conf or something simmilar.
Remember to stop, wait a bit and the restart transmission service, so new path are used to store resume files.

This works, thanks! Weird, it was working for half a year without configuration directory setting.

yes, until "/" filesystem grow and you have not enought space left.Dungeon_Keeper wrote:This works, thanks! Weird, it was working for half a year without configuration directory setting.
Please revise free space on "/" and look for any big .torrent that are forget in your "/" (and subdirectories) filesystem.
command du or find must be usefull to find big files.
