How to update Plex Server

Hey guys,

I have Plex installed on Nas4Free (9.3.0.2 Revision 1310) and there was recently an update put out for it. I installed Plex using Finch. I have been trying unsuccessfully for a while now to update the server to the latest version. I currently have version 0.9.11.7. If anybody knows the best way to get this updated to 0.9.12.1079 any help would be greatly appreciated!

First of all, last version on ports is bla-bla .1071

In short, for upgrade just go to where you had installed plex (chroot, jail, jail in chroot...) and upgrade SW

pkg upgrade

Good idea to upgrade nas4free first (1391 is workable, 1480 have bug with rsync, current 1556 looks good, but quite new - but I use 1556)

Thank you for your reply. I have followed the steps that you listed and it does go through the update successfully. The problem I am having is, the most recent version of the server is still not installed. I believe the issue is where the update is being pulled from does not have the latest version. I know that I can download the free BSD on the Plex website. Is there a way to download that file and then use it to complete the update?
