Honestly, you are the only one who has provided a visual, a picture!, for the actual connection between the LCD and the motherboard. I am so desperate to put one LCD on my NAS. However, I wanted to get a very cheap LCD maybe under $25 at most. But I am so lost and have no clue how to even begin. So far, I know that my computer does not have parallel port I mean isn't that already too old? New computers don't even have those parallel ports anymore! So how is one supposed to hook the LCD up? I know that the next option is USB. But how do i do this? Also how do I power it up? There is no literally step by step guide anywhere. Not even on the LCDProc page. Please help me out! I need help picking an exact LCD to connecting everything. I know this may be a lot of work but it will help everyone eventually! I am ready to write a detailed explanation on this if I can figure out how to make this thing work. Thank you for all the help.
