SIL3124 not working

Post by ShadowWizard »

Some may notice from a previous post I am having some issues getting a controller card to work please see my post at viewtopic.php?f=59&t=9165
In any event, I decided to buy a new controller based on the SIL3124 after checking that it is supported under FREEBSD. The information I found was that it is supported if the driver is compiled into the kernel.I assumed that it wold make sense for the makers to compile every controller they could get there hands on into the kernel.. Bad assumption. Anyway, how can I get this controller working without a complete install of NAS4FREE?
