can't find mdlocal

Post by wesselspeed »

Hello,

I tried installing NAS4Free 10.1.0.2.1731 x86 on my system (s875wp1 motherboard)
I have burnt the ISO using Poweriso.
But i get the error can't find mdlocal, the installation stopt and the system reboots.
The file mdlocal.xz is on my dvd.
What is going on here?

Probably your chipset is not supported in 10.x?
First try to install from LiveUSB instead of CD.
If you can boot from LiveUSB, please post /var/run/dmesg.boot.
