Adaptec 2820sa Raid Card

Post by vanastasis »

Hi All

quick question, how can I view the separate drives within the hardware raid array and smart info please ?

Adaptec 2820sa Hardware Raid 6 all 8 ports populated

I've used arcconf which gives me the information but in device manager GUI shows only as 1 drive not multiple with no Specific details

thank you

if you want the smart info you will have to stick with arcconf.

that is why we recommend using an dumb hba rather than a raid controller.
