1600MHz vs 600MHz is 56W vs 55W on my 3470T. Small difference but measurable.

After install from scratch, webserv not start.

Edit to "YES" in rc.conf for web serv & lighttpd

#/etc/rc.d/webserv start

return error:
source: /var/etc/websrv.conf line: 3 position: 21 ....

I go to /var/etc/websrv.conf

line:3 server.document-root = ""

I add path to /usr/local/www

I try onestart webserv, but websrv.conf again have no path

Code: Select all

hint.p4tcc.0.disabled=0
hint.acpi_throttle.0.disabled=0
and

Code: Select all

performance_cx_lowest="Cmax"
economy_cx_lowest="Cmax"
and everything went to normal. CPU is again running @400-800 and temperatures dropped down by few degrees.

BTW - if the system values are right, then difference between 1600 and 600Mhz is ~7.5W. Which is a significant difference.
thanks, this works for me too.
12.1.0.4 - Ingva (revision 7743) on SUPERMICRO X8SIL-F 8GB of ECC RAM, 11x3TB disk in 1 vdev = Vpool = 32TB Raw size , so 29TB usable size (I Have other NAS as Backup)

Add it by default at SVN r1842.
You don't need add it on 1842 and later.

If you want, you can override this value by System|Advanced|loader.conf.
