What do the user groups mean

Hello,

in the user groups area of nas4free there are a lot of groups....but what do these group represents and what role do they play in NAS4FREE?

Can we get a list of the default groups and there signifance/ role they play in the permission as it relates to functions for the nas4free server? Some are pretty straight forward like www, nobody, nogroup, wheel etc. but others not so much e.g. man, sshd, sys etc. A guide as to what these groups can do would be appreciated in understanding how user permissions work for the group
